As I approach my thirties, I’ve embarked on a journey of self-discovery and career exploration. After years of working in various roles, I’ve finally found my true calling: technology.
My journey into the tech world has been a winding one. I’ve faced numerous challenges, including financial setbacks and the demanding nature of my previous jobs. But through it all, my passion for technology has remained unwavering.
I’ve always been fascinated by the power of technology to solve problems and improve people’s lives. As a child, I spent countless hours tinkering with electronics and trying to understand how things worked. However, life took me down a different path, and it wasn’t until recently that I realized my true passion.
After completing a software bootcamp, I’m eager to apply my newly acquired skills. I want to make a meaningful impact in the tech industry. I believe that my unique experiences and perspective will bring a fresh and valuable approach to my work.
My journey has not been without its challenges. Balancing my studies with my previous job, managing my finances, and overcoming self-doubt have all been significant hurdles. But through perseverance, determination, and a strong support network, I’ve been able to overcome these obstacles.

By branching out and exploring new opportunities, I hope to gain a broader understanding of the tech landscape. I want to identify areas where I can make the most significant impact. With each new challenge, I see an opportunity for growth and development.
To further enhance my career prospects, I’ve been dedicating my evenings and weekends to refining my resume and portfolio. I’m focusing on highlighting my key skills, projects, and accomplishments, and tailoring my materials to specific job applications.
As I continue my job search, I need to make some difficult decisions. A moment come when I must organize my career goals. I need to temporarily leave my current job to focus on my tech journey. While this would be a significant change, I believe it would be a necessary step towards achieving my long-term aspirations.
One of my primary goals was to secure a software development role by the end of 2024. I have not achieved this exact timeline. I’m determined to keep pushing forward. I will make significant progress towards my career goals.
