Let’s be honest, the work grind for money is real. Right now, I’m in the thick of it as a tradie (industrial cleaner), maintaining ducts and kitchen canopies. Don’t get me wrong, there’s value in honest work, but respect for the hustle aside, it’s feeling less like purpose and more like a hamster wheel lately. I crave a career that ignites my creative spark, something that fuels my passion instead of draining it.
Exploring Australia (and Beyond!)
For the past 10 months, Australia has been my amazing home. But there’s so much more to see, not just in this beautiful country, but across the globe! Once I land that dream job that aligns with my passions, travel is absolutely on the menu.
The Aussie Adventure Awaits:
- Road Trip Romp: Imagine a classic Aussie road trip, blasting tunes and soaking up the scenery. Freedom on the open road is calling my name!
- The Ghan Gambol: Or maybe the iconic Ghan train will be my chariot, traversing the outback in comfort and style.
- State Hopping Spree: No matter the mode of transport, the goal is to experience everything Australia has to offer, from bustling cities to breathtaking natural wonders.
International Horizons:
Landing the perfect tech job isn’t just about financial freedom, it’s a passport to new experiences!
- Networking Nirvana: Imagine attending software development or game development events in Japan or the US! Connecting with fellow tech enthusiasts globally would be incredible, not just for my career, but for personal growth.
- Broadening Horizons: Even beyond tech conferences, exploring new cultures and artistic hubs would be invaluable. Think about music festivals in Europe or getting lost in the South American art scene!
From Grind to Greatness:
Sure, there’s a temporary setback, but my motivation and ambition are stronger than ever. Landing that dream job and turning these travel dreams into reality is absolutely achievable.
More Than Just Tech: My love for tech doesn’t negate my other passions! In fact, as the year progresses, I’m determined to find time and energy to rekindle my artistic side. Long nights at my current job make it tough now, but that spark for music and art is burning bright. Who knows, maybe travel will become a way to explore these creative pursuits as well!
Travel with Intention: Right now, the job search hustle, networking, and personal branding efforts can be overwhelming. But that’s okay! I believe in the power of intention.
